SPECIAL EVENT AT AURORA PUBLIC LIBRARY: Comfort Measures in Labour (2 hours)

Join Angela Covert, certified birth and postpartum doula and perinatal educator, for a hands-on, experiential learning session designed for birthing persons in their third trimester, and their partners or support people.

This workshop will help participants feel more prepared to cope with pain management during all stages of labour. In addition, both partners will explore effective communication strategies to support one another throughout the labour experience.

Important information:

  • Who it’s for: Participants approaching their due date. Priority registration will be given to those in their third trimester.

  • Support person: Each birthing person may bring one partner or support person. If attending together, please register for two spots. Individual registrants are welcome.

  • What to bring: A water bottle to stay hydrated during the session..
