*For birthing person and one partner. Private classes can be organized.
Labour Support
A Labour Doula empowers the clients by providing continuous information, emotional support and physical comfort. A doula does not offer any medical services and is hired by the client, rather than being contracted by a medical professional.
As your Doula I will not replace your partner, midwife or doctor! Rather, I will be a valuable addition to the team, providing you with the tool to help you (and partner, if applicable) feel empowered to make the choices with which you feel most comfortable and have the opportunity to have the birth experience you desire.
PRENATAL & LABOUR SUPPORT
INCLUDES:
Complimentary introduction meeting
2 Educational prenatal visits
24 hour 7 day support via phone, email, text after 38 weeks until birth
Support through labour and immediately after birth
1 postpartum visit
I will work with you in the development of your birth preferences plan
SLIDING SCALE BASED ON ABILITY TO PAY:
$500.00 TO $1200.00
The services of Hopeful Expectations Doula Services are available on a sliding scale. It is my goal to provide the best possible experience during the prenatal, labour and birth and postpartum for all birthing parents. When we meet, to discuss you moving forward with me as your Doula, you can choose the service and fee option that works best for you, your family and your finances. The next step will be discussing and signing the contract.*
